First Design Cabinetry’s sister company, Homeowner Services of America (HSA), modified an Ann Arbor couple’s home to provide easier mobility for the husband, who has balance problems and has fallen several times. New cabinetry played a key role in these “Aging in Place” improvements.
First Design Cabinetry supplied maple cabinets from Diamond’s Distinction and Trystan lines. HSA installed two cabinets on the wall in the former tub space to take advantage of this unused area. Other Diamond cabinets, with three full-extension drawers, have allowed easy access to all contents; they replaced the old two-door cabinets.
