Redesigned with New Materials

Bathroom Remodel, Ann Arbor, Michigan

A couple contacted First Design Cabinetry and our sister company, Homeowner Services of America (HSA), to design and construct a replacement master bathroom in their Ann Arbor, Michigan home.

The existing bath was not only dated, but had been poorly designed to begin with. The tub, which was no longer used, was not properly positioned; this resulted in an unnecessary structure at the end of the tub. There were also soffits that served no purpose other than to lower the ceiling in those areas; this made the bathroom seem even smaller.

We met with the homeowners to develop the design and to assist with material selections. FDC provided Diamond Distinction cabinets, Shiloh style in maple with a Palomino finish. The counter and sink are from Zimmer Marble and Granite, the plumbing fixtures from Ferguson Enterprises, the tile from The Tile Shop, and the shower door from Washtenaw Glass.

The homeowners are very happy with the outcome. They wrote, in a letter of reference: “We have had work done before, but we never had such a wonderful team.” FDC and HSA are always pleased to work with such pleasant folks – and we look forward to serving many more.
